Saute Peppers

Step 1: Saute the Jalapeno Peppers for 5 minutes at medium-high heat.

Chicken Added and Crumbled

Step 2: Add ground chicken and continuously crumble with flat blade spatula.

Step 3: Reduce heat to medium. Add ingredients down to tomato paste. Stir thoroughly and add water. Simmer until water is mostly cooked out.

Step 4: Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy.

Equipment

My preference for cooking utensils are wooden spoons and spatulas of all sizes. You can you wooden utensils on any surface and they don't conduct heat. I recommend using a high quality non-stick straight wall skillet, Michelangelo Deep Frying Pan. This pan is light weight and clean up is so easy. I tried this out as a trial and now have four of varying sizes. If you are using cast iron, stainless steel (multi-layer), or enamel pans, make sure to stir often.

Storage

Store the taco meat in a container that seals tight for 2-3 days. You can freeze the meat for several months in an air tight container.
